PMT, PMD and PMA Registration
Registering a new unit with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) in Malaysia's regions, including Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak, requires several critical steps. It begins with gathering all necessary documentation for both local and international brands.
Once the documents are ready, the DOSH application is submitted. Follow-ups are essential to ensure timely processing and address any issues. It's also important to pay all required fees on time.
The final goal is to obtain the Certificate of Fitness, confirming regulatory compliance and safety. This certificate is then forwarded to the client, completing the process and allowing operations to begin safely.
Design Approval
To proceed with machinery registration, obtaining design approval from DOSH Headquarters in Putrajaya is essential, whether the machinery is locally manufactured or imported. Without this design approval, machines cannot be registered, and their owners will operate without valid licenses. This requirement specifically applies to Unfired Pressure Vessels (UPV), Hoists or Lifts (PMA), and Boilers (PMD).
